Tube settlers, also called lamella clarifiers, are used to remove solids in the waste water treatment. Tube settlers use multiple tubular channels sloped at an angle of 60° and adjacent to each other, This design multiplies the sedimentation area up to 15 times per square meter surface area and helps to improve sedimentation in water and waste water treatment plants.
Lamella tube settler media is also called Honeycomb inclined tube packing or hexagonal inclined tube settler, which is a kind of settling tank packing designed and developed on the basis of the theory of "shallow sedimentation". The tube settler packing has large wet cycle, small hydraulic radius, good laminar flow state during operation so that the particle settling is not disturbed by turbulence, which can accelerate the separation of particles from water and shorten the precipitation distance of particles.
Using the PP/PVC/FRP/SS304 as material, the tubes are made by hot pressing and cut into accurate size.
The tube settler is normally used for water supply purification and waste water treatment for the waste water from: chemical plant sewage, domestic sewage plant, coal mine and coal washing plant, power plant concentration pool, pharmaceutical plants, paper mill as well as sand and rapid precipitation, oil separation etc.
